Our Perspective | National OGSE Blueprint Forum 2025
Synergy Marine (M) Sdn Bhd recently attended the National OGSE Blueprint Forum 2025, held at Sime Darby Convention Centre on 11 November 2025, bringing together leaders across Malaysia’s Oil, Gas & Energy Services (OGSE) ecosystem.
The forum centered on the theme “Safeguarding OGSE of the Future”, highlighting the importance of sustainability, competitiveness, and energy security within the industry.
The event featured impactful sessions and key insights from industry leaders, including welcoming remarks by Tuan Mohd Yazid Ja’afar (President/CEO, MPRC) and a keynote address by YBhg. Datuk Badrul Hisham bin Mohd from the Ministry of Economy.
Updates on the National OGSE Blueprint 2021–2030 were presented by Tuan Mustafa Akbar Reza, alongside discussions on energy transition opportunities by Puan Ilham Sunhaji.
A key highlight was the industry dialogue session, where experts shared valuable insights on safeguarding the future of OGSE, as well as a macro outlook presentation by Mr. Girish Sen from Rystad Energy.
The forum also addressed the implications of the National Climate Change Bill (RUUPIN) for the oil, gas, and energy industries, emphasizing the need for technological readiness and sustainable growth.
