MASA Teh Tarik Session: Networking & Dialogue with Authorities
Malaysia Shipowners' Association ("MASA") organized the MASA Teh Tarik Session: Networking & Dialogue with Authorities on 09 December 2025 at Hyatt Place Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
The session was moderated by Tuan Hj Mohamed Safwan Othman, Chairman of MASA, and featured two experienced panelists: Laksamana Muda (M) Mohd Zawawi Abdullah from the Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia ("APMM") and Captain Cheah Sin Bi, CEO of ORKIM Berhad.
The dialogue ran from 3pm to 5pm, covering APMM enforcement, industry updates, and an open Q&A with members. Kudos to the organizer for addressing all questions raised by the participants.
Representing Malaysia OSV Owners' Association ("MOSVA") and Synergy Marine (M) Sdn Bhd, Dato' Dr. Roslan Ahmad also raised several important questions regarding regulations impacting OSV players.
